Connected Commerce Business Director - Agency - £65,000 - £70,000 The Company A growing full service eCommerce Agency - part of a globally renowned & award winning Network Agency group! Based in central London - Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office. 4 weeks per year work from anywhere. The Job: Situated within the Planning and Account Management team, you would oversee various Ecommerce channels such as Amazon, D2C, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce. You will serve as the senior client liaison for our Amazon and Connected Commerce clients. Your responsibilities will include orchestrating the strategy and planning, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing team management and mentorship. Your primary objective will be to ensure the success of your clients by overseeing the day-to-day management of their accounts across Amazon, D2C, marketplaces, and Social Commerce. This entails providing strategic guidance to both direct and cross-functional teams, delivering sustainable growth strategies, and fostering long-term partnerships. Act as a crucial link between Client, Activation teams, and our clients to integrate our Connected Commerce approach. Seek a unique talent who can navigate the Ecommerce landscape (D2C, Marketplaces, Social Commerce, Digital drive to retail) and lead account management. Operate at a strategic level with client-facing responsibilities, simplifying complex concepts into actionable solutions. Collaborate with the Ecommerce Strategy Partner to set strategies for new and existing clients, fostering trusted client partnerships. Build strong client relationships, driving innovation and ensuring top-tier activation and delivery. Lead multi-channel ecommerce strategy and planning across various platforms, leveraging deep industry knowledge. Mentor and support team members, guiding their professional growth and development. Align recommendations with clients' business goals, both short-term and long-term. Oversee junior team members' proposals, providing advanced insights based on client business knowledge. Identify and pursue client growth opportunities, develop business plans, create client roadmaps, and manage account profitability. You: Demonstrated effectiveness in thriving within a dynamic, entrepreneurial startup environment where cross-functional collaboration and proactive initiative are paramount. Extensive operational expertise in Amazon retail and paid advertising, with a working understanding of D2C, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce. Robust organisational and project management skills. Outstanding communication, listening, and presentation abilities. Consistently provides constructive feedback to team members and reports, recognising and accommodating individual needs. Background in people management, including crafting objectives, conducting reviews, and facilitating 1-2-1s for direct reports. Extensive experience in client-facing roles, with a knack for cultivating relationships with external stakeholders.
