A dynamic and growing company in Macclesfield seeks a talented Payroll Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

In this fast-paced environment, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for over 9,000 colleagues. You'll collaborate closely with the team on tasks like uploading timesheets, processing various payments, generating BACS files, and integrating labour costs into the accounting system.

Here's What You'll Do:

Process assigned payrolls accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines consistently.
Ensure timely payments to third parties.
Respond to payroll inquiries via email and phone, providing excellent customer service.
Assist colleagues with navigating the internal online payroll system (training provided).
You're the Ideal Candidate if You:

Possess proven experience in payroll processing (previous experience is essential).
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Excel in communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a strong understanding of payroll principles (knowledge of tax and NI a plus).
Are adaptable and eager to learn, embracing the upcoming transition to a new payroll system (Dayforce).
