Peopleforce Recruitment are supporting a specialist fire and security systems business in their search for a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer. This company undertakes a wide range of projects serving a broad spectrum of commercial, industrial and public sector organisations - both directly and via relationships with main contractors who provide facilities management, estates management and construction services.

You will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems in residential and commercial structures, ensuring they meet all local and national fire safety regulations. TheFire Alarm Installation Engineer will be required to:

Install fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and associated equipment.
Conceal fire alarm system wiring in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Conduct testing and commissioning of fire alarm systems to guarantee they operate correctly.
Carry out final inspections and secure required approvals.
Keep work area tidy and well-organized.
Record all installation tasks for documentation purposes.
Work alongside other technicians and electricians when necessary.
Participate in training sessions to remain informed about current fire alarm technologies and code regulations.

The company is looking for a candodate with:

Minimum of 3 years of experience installing fire alarm systems
Working knowledge of electrical principles and low-voltage wiring.
Ability to read and interpret installation drawings and schematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
