Head of Recruitment and Learning & Development (Care Services)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Remote with travel across the UK as necessary

Deadline for applications is Monday 3rd June

Interviews will be held Monday 17th June at our Office in London

Joining the Care Senior Management Team, this role collaborates across Care Services to co-ordinate and deliver core resourcing and learning and development activity. You will play a key role in leading change initiatives, driving recruitment strategies, and refining learning and development practices. Working closely with the People and central L&D teams, you'll also be accountable for ensuring alignment with processes, program design, quality assurance, and legislative changes.

Key responsibilities include.

Recruitment:

* Overseeing the management of the Care Recruitment Team, ensuring the delivery of first class recruitment, vetting, and compliance services.

* Overseeing the implementation of innovative attraction, recruitment, and assessment methods aligned with business objectives.

* Overseeing the migrant worker process to ensure adherence to Home Office regulations.

Learning & Development:

* Overseeing the management of the Learning Delivery (Care) Team who are responsible for inductions, mandatory training, and other care-related development.

* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in learning delivery.

* Ensuring that mandatory training compliance levels are maintained and training content is aligned with regulatory standards.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* CIPD qualified is preferred or experience in a similar role and/or organisation.

* Up to date knowledge or HR and organisational development practises – including change management.

* Demonstrable experience operating at a senior level having managed multi-disciplinary teams.

* The ability to plan creatively at both strategic and operational levels.

* Experience leading a lean function and managing change and transformation successfully.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

* Willing to adjust to multiple demands, showing flexibility and being able to prioritise.
