Assistant Branch Manager in East Hanningfield - Williams Trade Supplies

We're looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Chelmsford. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure we provide the highest levels of customer service to our existing customers, attract new customers and manage the branch and team in the Branch Managers absence.

As an Assistant Branch Manager,you'll be expected to:

Support theBranch Manager with the day-to-day management of the branch and team

Display excellence levels of customer service when dealing with customersin-person andover the phone
Support the Branch Manager to attract and maintain new customers
Undertake daily branch administrative duties, including banking
Update and maintain POS displays, the branch's appearance andavailability ofmerchandise
Undertake stock checks and employ control measures
Receive, check and store incoming goods
Ensure safe operation anduse of thewarehouse
Build relationships with suppliers and reps

In order to do this, you will:
Possess excellent communication skills
Be focussed on upholding excellent levels of customer service
Be keen to develop your leadership and management skills
Have good attention to detail and maintain high levels of accuracy in your work
Work well under pressure and have a flexible approach to duties and responsibilities

Have an ambitious outlook with a willingness to learn
Understand the importance of Health & Safety and working within appropriate guidelines
