The Role:

This role is for a dynamic Mechanical & Electrical Technician -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be reporting to Manufacturing Lead and be responsible for:

To ensure industrial tools and machinery are properly maintained ensuring safety, legal and company specifications are followed and met. Responds to reports of broken or faulty items, conducting inspections of machinery and equipment and liaising with external service providers and contractors to carry out necessary works.

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

Working on Plant & Equipment
Have strong level of understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
A good understanding of operational and maintenance procedures
Competency of using handling equipment (e.g. Electric fork trucks/Tugs/Cherry pickers/MEWPS).
To have good underpinning knowledge of contamination risk control
To have good underpinning knowledge of working with and around chemicalsQualifications

Holding a valid Mechanical or Electrical maintenance City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 qualification OR equivalent.
Holding a valid Cross skilling maintenance City and Guilds or NVQ2 OR equivalent (Mechanical to Electrical or Vice Versa).
Having a good proven competency in safe systems of work (e.g. L.O.T.O).The Benefits:

Day Shifts - core hours per week 37
£24.19 Per Hour PAYE / £32 Per Hour Umbrella
Hertfordshire,
6 Month Initial Contract, Likely to be extended
