Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Electrical or Mechanical bias engineers considered

Up to 45k Salary

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday

6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm

Very generous package including:

This role is site based, working for a highly successful and recognisable organisation in Lancaster.

My client, one of the most successful and well-known brands in the area are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their state of the art facility in Lancaster.

You’ll play pivotal roles in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance of operating equipment, repair, identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvement of assets, their availability and the usage of energy and water across site.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be actively involved in the following tasks:

* You’ll be accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard to ensure downtime is minimized.

* Being responsible for supporting installation, commissioning, and testing within the area as the need arises, you’ll work closely with and coach operators, engineers, and team leaders to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimisation and support growth in equipment capability as required.

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills & experience:

* You must have completed a formal Electrical engineering apprenticeship, ideally within an industrial/ manufacturing industry.

* Experience of maintaining a CMMS (Agility or SAP / SHIRE)

* Experience of continuous improvement activities

* Awareness of lean manufacturing tools and techniques

* Experience of utilising a CMMS

* Electrical and Mechanical maintenance skills and qualifications
