Van Driver / Factory Worker in Flint - CV-Library

Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit a Van Driver | Factory Operative, to work for a leading manufacturing company, based within the Flint area.

THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION WITH AN IMMEDIATE START!

The main tasks involved in this role will be:
* Driving company vehicles to transport goods and materials to different locations.
* Responsible for ensuring timely pickups and deliveries in a safe manner.
* Ensuring vehicle maintenance and adhering to UK traffic laws and regulations.
* You will be involved in general factory tasks, when not driving.
* Assist in the general activities in the Production areas.
* Physical activities (moving products to various departments within the Production area.)
* Frequent lifting of weights more than 10kgs may be required.
* Be able to demonstrate high levels of efficiency and quality in your output whilst ensuring scrap and rework is kept to a minimum.

Other duties include:
* Load and unload and secure materials onto the van.
* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for pickups and deliveries.
* Check and maintain the van's condition and ensure it is safe to operate.
* Regularly clean and maintain the van's interior and exterior.
* Communicate with clients and colleagues about any delays or changes in schedule.
* Complete necessary paperwork and log all pickup and delivery details.
* Maintain a tidy work area and work within the guidelines laid down by the Health and Safety Executive.
* Ensure that high levels of housekeeping are always maintained.

Additional duties are likely to be required, as directed by the Department Manager.

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 6am - 6pm.

Salary:
£26,312.
