Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
Salary: Circa £54,000
Location: Eye
Working hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights
Benefits: 25 days Holiday + bank holidays + overtime (Monday - Saturday x1.5 & Sunday x2)

The Company:

My client, a leading manufacturing company supplying to the construction industry, is looking for an experienced maintenance fitter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate would be a competent maintenance fitter with experience in heavy industry environments. Must have a positive attitude, be able to show initiative and enjoy challenges. You will make sure the right spare components are fitted for a safe operation, complete planned maintenance, carry out fault finding and repairs. You will work well as part of a small team and independently.

Personal requirement;

NVQ Several years experience working within a manufacturing environment
Must have completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ or above in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Previous experience with the following equipment would be highly beneficial; hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, motors, gear boxes, bonding machines.
