With an extensive portfolio and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects ranging from £30m to £80m, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to initially to work at a project in Stevenage.

Role Overview: As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing key projects within the life science, education, and commercial sectors. You will be responsible for leading project teams, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure adherence to project requirements and timelines.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
Experience managing projects within the life science, education, or commercial sectors is highly desirable.
Ideally, previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor on similar projects.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
