Job Description

Job Title: Contracts Engineer / Senior Site Supervisor
Location: Basingstoke
Role: Permanent / Temp to perm
Reporting to: Contracts Manager
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: 45k - 50k
Benefits: Company car and fuel card provided. Performance-based annual bonus generally around 3%.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
*City & Guilds in Electrical Installation / NVQ Level 3
*City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
*Site Management Safety Training (SSSTS) or (SMSTS):
*Several years' experience as Site Supervisor: Substantial experience in supervisory roles, overseeing various projects and ensuring their successful completion.
*Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience with Temporary power and lighting.

Key Responsibilities:
*Manage daily allocation of labour resources to maintain efficiency: Effectively organising and allocating resources to optimise productivity and meet project deadlines.
*Oversee all projects under supervision: Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
*Delivery of works within pre-defined budget: Managing project finances effectively, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
*Ensure ongoing customer/client satisfaction: Maintaining positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring their needs are met.
*Ensure all works are carried out to the required standards: Upholding quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

MAIN TASKS:
*Regular liaison with site project management, attend meetings where appropriate.
*Prepare risk assessments and method statements prior to commencement of works.
*Carry out regular reviews of labour and resources with Contracts Manager
*Regularly liaise with Site Supervisor on workload and labour requirements
*Monitor levels of on-site safety and report on housekeeping performance
*Daily management of on-site operatives, sub-contractors, and apprentices
*Consistently deliver project in line with scope of works
*Regularly monitor the standard of our installation
*Plan duties to maintain efficiency of workforce.
*Ensure all workers managed are competent to perform their duties.
*Notify any training requirements to the Contracts Manager
*Ensure all activities are consistent with the requirements of the CMS.
*Strive to improve the quality of service provided to the Company's customers by identifying and proposing developments and amendments to systems used.
*Take responsibility for own personal health and safety and impact on the environment.
