Job Description

Quantity Surveyor – £30,000-£45,000 + Benefits – North West England

The Role

We’re looking for ambitious Quantity Surveyors who are working towards their APC and have a desire to progress their career quickly with incremental salary increases and promotion as they complete their APC and work towards Associate Director/Director.

As one of the fastest growing consultancies in the UK we offer a genuine opportunity to progress your career quickly aligned with our business growth. We have structured our APC program in a way that provides incremental salary increases aligned with the completion of competencies which means you are rewarded for your progress throughout the journey and again once you become MRICS.

Whilst we’re experts within the rail sector, we have a strong presence across plenty of other sectors too so you’ll always be learning and expanding your knowledge every day. We believe in autonomy and trust so you’ll be given the freedom to work independently with the peace of mind that you have the full support of the Directors when you need them.

We are passionate about learning and development and will always support you whether it be professional accreditations such as MRICS, leadership & management or specialist technical training. CPD is integral to yours and our growth.

Our culture

All of our employee’s matter!! Our focus on employee wellbeing and strong relationships across the business creates a culture that promotes friendships, support and a proactive approach to maintaining good mental and physical wellbeing.

We recognise that work is only a small part of our lives and that making time for our families, friends, and ourselves is essential. So, if working from home, part-time work, or having a flexible start and finish time will help with this, please let us know as part of your application.

Formed in 2009 the vision for Vextrix was created out of a desire to simply do things differently. John Williamson and Phil Marsden founded the company with a determination to treat people exceptionally well and commit to their word for both employees and clients alike.

Today with 3 offices and over 60 employees, an amazing culture with growth year on year, their commitment is stronger than ever. A culture of empathetic leadership, a work place where everyone can be themselves, where the whole person comes first both in work and home, giving back to communities, and a mission to make sure all of our people are happy has seen us retain and attract the best people.
