Cover Supervisor (West Wales) in Swansea - Equal Education Partners

Job Description We are currently recruiting for multiple Cover Supervisors for secondary Schools in the Swansea and Llanelli area starting as soon as possible. The roles are full time and the successful applicants would be needed for an immediate start once all compliance checks are completed by Equal.

Requirements

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be required to:

Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Provide supervisory support across the whole school when not covering your own designated lessons
Safeguard the children in your care
Set up equipment and help prepare the classroom for lessons
Inspire and encourage pupils within the classroom through individual and group tasks to achieve their learning outcomes

Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required for this role
Candidates might have completed Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare or other similar subjects
Equally, strong candidates might have prior experience working with children and/or relevant transferrable skills and experience from a range of different sectors e.g. care, sports, coaching, theatre & performing arts and other areas

The salary for this role is £21,000-23,000 per annum (pro-rated, depending on experience).
