The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented a Senior Java Developer. You will be responsible for the ownership of key projects, working across all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. As a Senior Developer, you will be accountable for issuing technical guidance to Junior Developers, including overseeing their deliverables and providing architectural guidance.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Java code for the platform across the trade management stack.
Collaborate closely with business teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Expanding product offerings
Facilitate the clearing of new credit derivative index, single name, and option products.
Develop innovative platform extensions to drive growth.
Simplify the overall platform architecture for improved performance.
Maintain and enhance existing codebase, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative development environment.

Must Haves
Enterprise experience: Secure, regulated environments, SDLC for financial services.
DevOps champion: CI/CD, testing frameworks (Jenkins/GitLab, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber).
Architecture savvy: Applies principles for quality, high-impact improvement.
Collaborative powerhouse: Communicates effectively, owns solutions cross-functionally.
Tech stack master: Java, Spring Boot, databases (relational & no-SQL), JMS (ActiveMQ/IBM MQ), Git, Maven, IntelliJ.

Nice to Have
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services, like EC2, S3, Lambda.
