Management Accountant in Newcastle upon Tyne - Parkdean Resorts

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager assist with the accounting for income streams, focusing on Holiday Home Sales, Holiday Home Sales Stock & Owner Income in order to provide key financial information and insight to the leadership team of the business whilst maintaining a robust controls environment.
Job Description:
Assist with the production of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries
Assist and provide cover for the preparation of the HHS Stock Reconciliation including liaising with the Stock team to address reconciling items
Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities
Provide support during the year end process including liaising with auditors and responding to audit queries in a timely manner
Assist the Senior Finance Manager in general Accounting tasks across Holiday Home Sales, Owner Income and Holiday Home Sales Stock
Preparation of weekly Pitch Report
Preparation of monthly KPI's
Safeguarding your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. Co-operation with Management to enable compliance with health and safety. Ensuring quality, compliance and Health & Safety standards across the Finance Team.
Ensuring an appropriate internal control framework is in place to safeguard the business and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations

Person Specification:
Newly/Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience of multi-site or similar size Business
Experience of supporting operational teams
Experience of interaction with Shared Services
Sun systems knowledge preferred
Experience of Microsoft packages
