Environmental Manager in Stockton-on-Tees - Jackson Hogg

Job Description Jackson Hogg has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Manager in the Teesside area.
We have partnered with a specialist engineering business seeking a candidate with experience in a similar level position, environmental qualifications, and a background in either engineering or chemical production.

Environmental Manager responsibilities:

Be a key member of the management team and be directly responsible for the Environmental Management of the site
Maintain professional working relationships with Environmental Regulators
Ensure compliance with all site permits and permissions including Trade Effluent, Reach authorisation and re-application in relation to chemical management
Implementation and maintenance of ISO14001, implementation and maintenance of ISO15001 alongside the Engineering and Maintenance Manager
Ability to design and deliver Environment training programmes to employees as needed
Management of process chemicals including coordination of high performance team for solvent
Working closely with the line Process operators and Engineering on solvent capture
Record and maintain solvent consumption improvement register with the H&S Manager
Complete daily, monthly and yearly data recording and analysis

Environmental Manager Person Requirements:

High enthusiasm for Environmental management
ISO14001 Systems Management
Environmental Auditing
Working knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO5001
REACH knowledge
Professional Environmental Qualifications
