Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Role Overview: We are seeking a talented German to English Translator to join our client’s team on a full-time basis. This is an in-house translation position with great opportunity for career growth and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating a variety of documents, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the integrity of the original content.

Key Responsibilities:
Translate German documents into English, maintaining the style, tone, and meaning of the original text
Proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy and quality
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Conduct research when necessary to ensure accuracy of translations
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to address any queries or concerns

Requirements:
Native English speaker with fluency in German, or bilingual English/German proficiency
Experience or qualification in translation is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate translations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively to deadlines
Proficiency in translation software and tools is a plus
Candidates who have studied German at university are encouraged to apply
