Job Description

Job Description My client, an institutional investor that specialises in alternative residential is looking to recruit a Construction Project Manager to join their team. They are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced construction focused project manager to help them oversee all construction sites.

Projects are completed at a fast pace with programme legnths typically 1-3 months and you will look after a number of projects at any one time. Currently their portfolio span London, South Coast, Essex, East Anglia and East Midlands. A typical project is creating a 4-6 bed home, refurbishing the structure under existing permitted development rights.

The successful candidate will have:
· At least 8+ years’ experience preferred including delivery of multiple fast paced projects in tandem
· CIOB, MRICS or other similar professional qualification preferred.
· Previous experience as a Senior Contracts Manager/Contracts Manager/Operations Manager, construction project manager within the residential sector.
· Strong technical development/project & risk management experience.
· Competent in influencing colleagues, suppliers, statutory service providers and local authorities to support a successful project delivery
· An excellent understanding of construction procurement and delivery methods. Good contact book of trades, supplier, contractors would be advantageous.
· Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
