My client are global leaders in the technology space and are looking for their first ever specialist Employee Relations Manager to join their international People team. This is on a 12 month FTC to start as soon as possible and you must be willing to commit to the full contract. As this role is an individual contributor role and will be the go-to expert for all things employer relations, you must have been in a similar role at the Manager or Business Partner level. It is vital you are confident as a speciaist in this space and can act at a strategic level.

Not only will you manage international cases, you will conduct a forward-thinking and holistic approach to how employee relations are handled globally. Therefore you must have experience implementing new strategies, initiatives and process as preventative measures, and ideally have rolled those out over multiple countries. You’ll work closely with the global HRBP team as well as legal counsel.

Duties will include:
Provide strategic ER advice and guidance on all aspects of business change including re-structures, mergers & acquisitions, outsourcing
Lead as the key subject matter expert related to all employee relations on a global level
Responsible for coaching and developing the People team, Senior Managers and Leadership across multiple countries
Build strong and effective relationships both internally and externally with stakeholders
Build and implement a global ER strategy, incorporating legislative developments, alongside company culture, industry trends, and the wider HR strategy
Lead on all complex ER cases, Employment Tribunal claims and settlement agreements, ensuring litigation is reduced and cost is controlled
Communicate and coach managers, employees and the wider HR team on relevant regulations, laws and company policies
Partner with internal and external counsel with regards to any internal cases when needed

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience ER Manager to step into a standalone role and really make a difference in a business. They are a company who pride themselves on putting their people at the centre of what they do, so this role is incredibly important to them for making positive changes they need. They offer hybrid working 2 days a week in their brand new offices.
