Your responsibilities as a Senior Web Developer:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications using a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines
Ensure web applications are secure by following security best practices, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing appropriate security measures
Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and development tools to improve development processes and enhance application capabilities
Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to the development of technical roadmaps
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and industry best practices through continuous learning and professional development
Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including code comments, design documents, and user guides
Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure application availability and scalability
Provide technical guidance and support to various stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and end-users

To be successful in this position as a Senior Web Developer, we are looking for the following attributes and experience:
Expert knowledge of JavaScript
Proficiency in MongoDB
Strong understanding of Linux systems
Understand Git version control
Extensive experience with PHP
Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices
Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Knowledge of web security principles and secure coding practices
Experience with testing frameworks and automation
Understanding of performance optimisation techniques
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
