Do you have over 3 years indirect buying experience in category areas of HR, IT or Travel?

Ability to stakeholder manage with senior executives across the UK and Europe?

Do you have a proven track record of delivering cost reduction projects and drive value improvement initiatives throughout the category ?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Food Manufacturing business on the search for a Regional Buyer UKI & Europe . This is a permanent role based in Chiswick .

As Regional Buyer UKI & Europe, you will be focused on delivering world class results and a competitive advantage to the company. You will contribute to the development of the Regional category strategy, whilst leading the sourcing cycle and bringing in breakthrough ideas through outstanding approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver cost reduction projects across regional spends and drive value improvement initiatives throughout the category.
Engage proactively with team members to understand current and future requirements and align on a unified approach.
Build and execute regional category strategies to deliver cost reduction, supply continuity, innovation sustainability benefits.
Provide information and impact assessments for Global Procurement teams to support Global procurement strategies and plans and execute them for the region.
Act in accordance with and bring to life the One Procurement Community (OPC) to enable pladis Journey to Procurement Excellence (JPE)
Undertake broad procurement responsibilities across category strategy and supply chain.

What do you need for this role?

Graduate qualification or confirmed procurement experience
Previous experience within Indirect Procurement
Excellent knowledge of sourcing practices and ability to lead end to end sourcing process
Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills with a confident demeanor
Positive demeanor and ability to make things happen to deliver outstanding results
Proficient project and organisational change capabilities
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Experience in Professional Services, HR, Travel, or IT categories
Experience with SAP
