FMCG - Food - Grocery
Maidenhead (hybrid 3 days connecting / 2 days WFH)
£40,000 - £50,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits

The opportunity:
The role will be a key member of the UK brand team and will be responsible for the delivery of brand plan for this iconic brand that is in strong growth. The Brand Manager will be leading products within the portfolio and projects within the brand plan. This role is all about passion for brands and marketing, consumer centric thinking and drive, you’ll own all elements of the marketing mix.

What will my accountabilities be?
•Managing your individual portfolio area, ensuring delivery of the in-year commercial plans. This will include developing and launching NPD, managing the profit targets for the portfolio and helping to develop an exciting new promotional strategy.
•Preparing the monthly period performance report for your portfolio area, delivering insightful analysis of different data sets (including internal measures and external data such as Nielsen Scantrack) and ensuring corrective actions are in place to deliver brand KPIs.
•Ownership of the consumer closeness programme, ensuring the brand team remains close to our consumers.
•Working alongside the sales team to ensure commercial plans are achieved and the pricing/promotional strategy is effective.

A great candidate will have:
At least 3 years marketing experience in a branded FMCG business.
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of cross functional team collaboration.
A consumer and brand centric mindset in everything that you do.
An intensely curious and inquisitive nature about consumer/ shopper behaviour.
Commercial experience and be able to interrogate a brand P&L.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a natural ability to navigate complexity.
A proven track record of being a strong team player – you’ll need this to succeed.
