Operations Manager in London - Artisan People Group

Job Description An award-winning specialist fragrance brand is looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to lead the team in Aldgate East, London.

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Your key duties will be to:

Ensuring cost controls and driving efficiencies across the logistics and supply chain network.
Audits and reports (regular stock audits, cost audits, asset audits).
Manage warehouse operations (Inbound / outbound / Picking / Packing and Stacking)
Review supply chain orders to minimise out of stock items.
Implement process improvements at all levels to enhance productivity.
Managing relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
Ensure a regular procurement process to deliver best value across the supply chain network.
Drive improvement initiatives – monitor KPI’s, analyse data.
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in current operations.
Create SOP at every level and for every function.
Oversee timely recruitment.
Ensure Health and Safety compliance requests are up to date with latest requirements.
Support the planning of retail calendar on key H&S and operational events.
To report monthly, quarterly updates on keys areas of H&S

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management (or a related field) and prior experience in a management position. A deep understanding of financial management is also a plus.

You will have prior project management experience and experience in retail with a focus on Health and Safety/security and maintenance. People management and organisational skills are required, as well as being a team player with a positive attitude. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to apply a business strategy.
