Job Description

Job Description Work for a charity in London as an interim Events Officer (2 months – 3 months)
You will be helping to deliver a large conference for a charity. Monitoring the inbox daily and remain as the primary point of contact for attending colleagues and helping with their queries. Coordinate conference logistics, liaise with multiple companies re catering arrangements, equipment requirements, and finalising the workshop room setting. You will then provide on site support for the conference, overseeing volunteers, acting as a liaison between attendees and volunteers, & supporting the conference working party team with various administrative tasks as needed.

What we look for
Experience as an Events Officer.
Previous experience in conference planning and event coordination.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and full Microsoft Office suite. Desirable: Canva and event tracker tool.
Flexible to come into the office when required in addition to the mandatory two days.

What we offer
2 – 3 months.
Daily rate: £140 - £160 via an umbrella company.
Full time, 5 days per week, 35 hours.
Hybrid 1-2 days per week, (must come in on a Tuesday) but also the understanding you may need to be on site more days prior to the conference.
Central London.
