HFG are currently recruiting for a reputable Lloyd's MGA who are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
My client is looking to grow in the South West region and is therefore looking for a candidate with strong broker relationships/connections in the commercial combined space. The successful candidate must have a strong background in the SME/Mid Market Property and Casualty market and must live somewhere in the South West.

Key Responsibilities
Covering the defined geographic area of Southwest, Wales, and the South, with the ability to oversee connections outside of this region.
Seeking out new broker opportunities in the mid-market commercial and high net worth sectors, with assistance in handling agency inquiries.
Promoting and coordinating broker participation in internal workshops.
Compiling and submitting weekly reports as per a set template.
Participating in regular sales meetings.
Organizing joint meetings with colleagues as needed.
Collaborating with the Regional Director on strategic management.
Part of a team of 6 Business Development Managers covering the entire UK.
Supporting the trading underwriting teams in London.
No direct reports or managerial responsibilities.
