Customs Insights , part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Shift Clerk to join our dynamic team.

About the Role:
This is a key role within our 24/7 operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of customs clearance processes. You'll lead a shift team in the supervisor's absence, overseeing all tasks to guarantee compliance and accuracy.

Shift pattern 4 on 4 off. Hours - days 1 & 2 0700hr to 1900hr, days 2 & 3 1900hr to 0700hr

Your Responsibilities:
Supervising a shift team and ensuring assigned tasks are completed efficiently and compliantly
Completing daily customs clearance tasks yourself
Assisting colleagues with customs paperwork
Amending and corresponding with customs authorities
Completing excise declarations
Contributing to various operational duties as directed by management

You'll be Successful if You Have:
In-depth knowledge of customs procedures and principles
Proficiency in customs clearance software
Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
IT literacy
A proven ability to meet tight deadlines
A meticulous and detail-oriented approach
Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
The ability to identify and effectively report issues
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues

This is a full-time position requiring shift work to support our 24/7 operations. Compulsory overtime may be required.
