Job Description Senior Brand Manager
FMCG - Food
Maidenhead (hybrid 3 days connecting / 2 days WFH)
Circa £65,000 + travel allowance, generous bonus and benefits

The opportunity:
The role will be a key member of the UK brand team and will be responsible for delivery of brand plan for this iconic brand. This role offers all the security of working for a larger business corporate but all the fun of growing in a entrepreneurial team with 1 direct report!

What will my accountabilities be?
Responsible for the shaping and delivery of the 3 year brand plan and annual budgets, leading the internal and external sell-in of the plan.
Play a lead role in building a long term, sustainable, innovation pipeline for and delivering existing new product development initiatives.
Closely monitor brand health and in market performance, adjusting plans when required to build a high performing product portfolio.
Ownership of the brand P&L, including all marketing spend, identifying opportunities to optimise with cross functional support.
Build strong working relationship with key agency partners to deliver the agreed brand plan inc. ATL, design, digital and social.

A great candidate will have:
Educated to degree level, ideally with a business or marketing related degree.
At least 5 years marketing experience in a branded FMCG business.
A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a natural ability to navigate complexity
A consumer first mind set in everything that they do, while always considering the implications of key decisions and actions on the retailer and business.
Commercial experience, able to interrogate a brand P&L, identifying issues and opportunities, making interventions at pace.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to constructively challenge, influence and persuade.
A desire to constantly raise the bar and a hunger to learn, develop and grow.
A proven track record of being a strong team player and building strong cross function relationships.
