Are you a proven land acquisition professional looking to work for a dynamic privately owned developer where you'll be given the freedom to get out and do deals?

We are working with a privately owned house builder and property developer that is looking to appoint a land director to operate across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.

You will be an established senior land manager or land director who has a demonstrable track record of sourcing and securing sites in the East Midlands region. You will be an natural deal maker that can do off market deals to gain the highest level of profit.

You will report into the Managing Director. You might be currently working for a plc house builder and yearn for a more dynamic environment or you could be work at another sme developer but lack the funds to buy land.

Salary is flexible for the right person, there will be a bonus and other package details. Personality fit and a proven track record of securing sites is key.

Responsibilities
Building developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landowners, agents, local authorities and other stakeolders.
Maintaining and developing the land strategy for the growing region in the East Midlands
Managing and developing other members of the team
Identifying and acquitting land in the East Midlands
lead and take ownership on legal agreements

Key requirements
land professional with 5 years + industry experience
track record of sourcing and buying sites in across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.
working for either a national residential developer, sme developer or high profile investor or agency.
understanding of the planning application and appeals process.
strong network of contacts in the land agency world.
hungry and ambitious.
to work autonomously and independently from the rest of the team.
