We are proud to be working with a small animal, general practice in Surrey to add a new Veterinary Surgeon to their clinical team.

The Clinic:

We are a small animal, first opinion practice situated near Redhill in Surrey. We're owned by 2 of our own clinicians who are still very much a part of the clinical team. In total, we have 5 Vets, one of which is a certificate holder, and are looking to support a more junior clinician in their first years as a Veterinary Surgeon. You will be supported by a multi-disciplinary team of RVNs and support staff as well as Student Nurses coming on their placements.

Our surgery is bright and modern with plenty of space for surgeries, consults and staff. We've high-quality ultrasound and X-Ray equipment, ECG equipment, a state-of-the-art on-site laboratory and spacious hospital wards for our patients. Being based in Redhill, the Surrey Hills of Outstanding Natural Beauty are right on our doorstop so you can enjoy the countryside just a moment away from work.

The Job:

As we already have a strong clinical team of Vets, we are in a position to support a less confident Vet as they learn more about Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in a new practice. You will work on your own cases, from initial consultations right the way through to discharge. Any Vet on our team works in all areas of the clinic including the large operating theatres, consult rooms, diagnostics and you will have dedicated time to organise your paperwork and administrative tasks.
If you are already a confident general practitioner, we are happy to see how you could support our practice moving forwards and play a key role in educating the next generation of surgeons training at our practice.

We are happy to receive applications from RCVS accredited Surgeons at all levels of experience. We will support you on your learning journey just as well as we can offer a senior general practitioner the opportunity to grow and develop their career further.

This practice is in the Surrey Hills of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Commutable from Guildford, Crawley, Sevenoaks, Redhill, Croydon, Horsham, East Grinstead, Chessington, Sutton, and all surrounding areas.
