Crest Nicholson's South Division have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Land Manager to join the team. This Candidate will support our Land Director in managing all land acquisition and applications as part of the Development strategy for the Division.

The trademark Crest Nicholson developments are often exceptional quality in design and master-planning, on average between 40-250 unit multi-phase sites with a combination of core house types along with bespoke features.

The successful candidate will lead on the identification, initial research and appraisals of new sites, with a focus on negotiating and agreeing prices and terms directly with vendors and Agents. A key area of this role will be to have strong commercial acumen to make decisions on the feasibility of the project by liaising with internal teams on benchmarking, costing and terms.

Your clear and open communication style in communicating planning and site information for each team is absolutely key, in order for everyone to deliver high quality work to set deadlines. This will include regularly reviewing and updating site valuations and budgets to ensure they reflect the current proposals and values and continue

What are we looking for in a successful candidate?

• Significant Land Management experience in the New Homes Development field
• A solid understanding of Land purchase processes and other regulatory legislations
• Sound knowledge of design and construction processes
• Be confident in chairing Land meetings and dealing with Consultants
• High degree of commercial acumen and awareness
• Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with all stakeholders
• Ability to organise, plan and manage workloads and work under pressure
• Confident in leading presentations and group meetings
• Have vision, commitment and enthusiasm for change
• Naturally an influential character with a strong ability to listen and negotiate
• Resilient and able to persevere during challenging negotiations

Desirable

Degree educated within a relevant discipline, e.g. Real Estate, Town Planning, Urban Planning, etc.
