The company is at the forefront of Hyperbaric Rescue, along with being the leading supplier of commercial and defence diving equipment and saturation diving systems to the commercial industry.About the role:The role will have responsibility for onsite repairs, testing and calibration services at JFD Portsmouth and be part of the JFD Portsmouth diving support team.Your key responsibilities will also include:carry out repair, recalibration and testing work in compliance with work order instructions and in accordance with requisite quality system standards.conduct and record service and repair work on MoD contracts as required.conduct JFD product / service training as directed in the UK and deployed globally.ensure compliance with all company Safety and Quality Assurance policies, processes and procedures to ensure that people and equipment are kept safe.act as part of the JFD dive team to dive JFD and client equipment as required.assist the JFD Documentation Co-ordinator in maintaining the UK MoD and other Defence organisations diving equipment documentation. Specifically, but not limited to, BR’s, JIC’s, and LSPECS.at JFD Portsmouth but also to include trips to other MoD sites as directed by the ISS Manager.foreign travel may be required on an infrequent basis to support equipment training and demonstrations.follow the JFD Management Systems for the undertaking of the duties as described. There are both company and project specific processes.follow the JFD Management Systems for the undertaking of the duties as described, both company and project specific processes.What do you need?Ideally, with previous experience as a Diver/ Supervisor.Working knowledge of UK Military Diving & Diving maintenance procedures.Working knowledge of MoD documentation, which includes but is not limited to BR’s & Defect reporting.Previous experience as a military Diver/Supervisor or with military diving equipment as an operator/maintainer (Rebreather & Open Circuit) would be highly desirable.The role’s primary location is Portsmouth however, travel may be required as part of operational requirements.*For this role you will need to have the right to reside and work in the UK.Working for us:We offer a number of benefits including Group Personal Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, free fruit in the office and an early finish on Fridays.
