Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Team ManagerLocation: SheffieldSalary: £24,000-£25,500paPrimary Responsibilities Responsible for running a highly efficient and agile warehouse department by supporting and leading a warehouse team to ensure the requirements of the customer are delivered and the goals and objectives of the business are met. To work alongside the Fulfilment and Production Planning departments to ensure distributions are fulfilled to SLA.Main Duties:Warehouseunderstand and be responsible for the safe unloading / loading of vehicles etc. Including the entry and control the Movement and parking of trailers.prestart checks are conducted and documented at the start of each shift and any defects are reported immediately to the Warehousing & Fulfilment Manager.all operational equipment to a high standard reporting any defects immediately.and organise daily picking requirements in line with Customer SLA’s and ensure orders are fulfilled.the replenishment of stocks to maintain levels held at the pick face and accurately update the stock system.an accurate up to date stock inventory system.documentation (SOP’s) and working practices with a view to improving operational efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.cascade and communicate KPI and organisation information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and regular interpersonal communication.performance vs plan regularly and the role of escalating any issues that may mean the plan isn't reached that day.overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective supervision, training, and welfare of your team.compliance with rules, procedures, systems, etc. Whilst striving to continuously improve processes and relationships and instilling this mindset into your team.Health & Safety be aware of and always observe safe-working practices, ensuring others within the designated areas do likewise and to report any breaches immediately.all accidents and near misses are recorded and reported as per company guidelines.that E&HS policy is brought to the notice of employees, contractors and visitors.that employees receive induction, Environmental and Health & Safety Training on all aspects of their work.employees work in accordance with Safety Codes and Rules.employees are issued with and use the required PPE.Skills/Experience:Must have previous Warehouse Team Manager experienceMS Office skillsIf you'd like to learn more about this role, please get in touch with Natalie!Please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK.Devonshire is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
