Job Description Title: Staff Machine Learning Engineer
Type: Permanent
Location: London - 2-3 days per week
Salary: £120k

Join us in an opportunity to lead a talented team of 5-10 machine learning engineers and data scientists in a global project at the intersection of data and sustainability. As the Staff Data Scientist and Team Lead, you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction to the team, designing and implementing AI solutions for sustainability.

We seek a ML leader with a proven track record:
7+ years of experience leading the design, development, and deployment of complex machine learning solutions.
Expertise in product experimentation, Causal AI, and advanced statistical techniques.
Deep knowledge of data science tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark).
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, model building, and scripting.
Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
