Job Description

Job Title: Vehicle Paint Sprayer

Location: Loughton, Essex, IG10 3UF

Hours: Full time and Permanent - 40 hours a week

Salary: Basic salary £18.00 per hour which based on 40 hours a week equates to £37,440 + excellent bonus – OTE with bonus - £50,000-£55,000

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance and pension scheme

Bonus schemes: Individual time saved and profit bonus schemes Role is Monday to Friday – no weekends!

Our client is one of the UK’s 6th largest car dealer groups representing 23 of the world’s most popular and celebrated car, van, truck and motorbike manufacturers with 141 dealerships situated across 34 UK counties.

They are now actively recruiting for a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for their Bodyshop in Loughton, Essex.

The role:

As a skilled Paint sprayer / technician, you will join a team of experts supporting one of our clients popular brands in our clients state-of-the-art facilities. Full manufacturer training is provided so there is no need to have specific brand experience. You can expect regular manufacturer specific training to keep you up to date with the latest technology through both manufacturer training and through our clients Academy.

Who you are:

* Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer / Technician with technical expertise with quality and pace in mind.

* A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures

* A qualified Paint Sprayer / Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)

* Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace

What you’ll do:

* Prepare, Spray and finish vehicles to an exemplary high standard in line with internal and customer requirements

* Ensure correct colour matching on all assigned tasks

* Ensure all Paint works are completed in an efficient manner in line with the daily schedule

* Accurately and skillfully undertake cosmetic repairs on motor vehicles

* Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines

* Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details.

* Ad-hoc duties as required

* Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance.

* Detect and report any additional faults for further repair
