Description
Oversee and manage financial processes and reporting
Production of the Statutory Accounts.
Oversee the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including all bank accounts and control accounts
Manage the revaluation of a multi-currency environment.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Provide financial advice and recommendations to senior management
Lead and manage finance team members
Coordinate audit processes
Review and implement financial policies
Management of the anti-terrorist finance review system (FinScan)
Work with People & Culture when required to assist with payroll queries.Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Previous experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in accounting softwareJob Offer
