The Role
As an Arboriculture Manager at Landscape Services, you'll play a pivotal role in our management team. Your mission will be to lead and expand a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch tree care and inspections, ensuring both contract compliance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will need a thorough grasp of all aspects of arboriculture, from inspections to TPO applications. We're looking for someone who's not just organised and adept but also has a proven track record of steering teams across various locations. You'll excel in mapping out efficient work plans and directing staff to meet our high standards, resource allocation, and contractual commitments.

Your expertise in health and safety, coupled with the ability to conduct risk assessments and adhere to safe work practices, is vital.

Due to the nature of work being carried out a full DBS check (provided by the Company) and a Full UK Driving License is required.

Key Duties:

Setting up daily schedules for all teams, ensuring that they carry out all scheduled tasks, including routine and specialised general tree maintenance, tree inspections, and the submission of electronic reports

Preparing for monthly management reports plus attending customer and site meetings

Ensuring that risky or unsafe behaviours are minimised in order to reduce the possibility of an accident or harm. Providing event and near-miss reports

Maintaining all health and safety documents and records

Working closely and forming great relationships with clients, take full responsibility for all client facing operations, ensuring all work is completed on time and to good standard

Planning, organising, and supervising all equipment, staff and materials to avoid wastage and ensure compliance with required standards

Ensure that all staff adhere to the vehicle Policies and regular monitoring takes place resulting in swift action is taken to remedy faults or issues.
What we need from you:

Previous experience in an arboriculture / tree surgeon role

Strong leadership skills

Good numeracy skills

Excellent attention to detail

Knowledge of pricing work (desirable)

Lantra Basic Tree Survey and Inspection or equivalent

Full UK driving license (essential)
