Electrical Test Technician

Commutable from Bridgend, Porthcawl, Port Talbot, Cardiff, Barry, Pontypridd and the surrounding areas

Salary Negotiable/ Depending on Experience + Extensive Industry Leading Training + 4 & 5 day weeks available + Overtime +Pension + Training + 30 days' Holiday

This company have specialized in providing testing and consultancy services within their field for over 10 years and have a well renowned reputation countrywide. They are in a period of growth within the business and are looking for a Test Technician to join their testing and safety team to help them develop and adapt to their intake of new projects and clientele.

The role will involve working closely with the Senior Test Technicians and Safety Managers in order to set up, validate and carry out tests in line with company standards. You will assist with other areas of engineering as well as aiding with the maintenance and upkeep of the Test department.

The person will have experience come from a lab/ electrical environment and have knowledge of lab test equipment, product development and have a practical outlook. There will be the chance to train and develop in other areas of the business as well as learning about a specialised industry.

The Role:
*Working closely with Safety Manager
*Testing for safety and performance of electrics
*Maintain company quality standards
*Extensive accredited inhouse training

The Person:
*Electrical Test and Equipment knowledge
*Previous experience in workshop/manufacturing environment
*Comfortable working hands on
