Mental Health and Well-Being Tutor- Immediate start available

Pertemps is delighted to be working with a ‘Good’ rated training provider based in the Manchester area. They are looking to recruit a Mental Health and Well- Being Tutor to join their expanding team on a full-time basis.

Role Overview: As a Mental Health and Wellbeing Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative sessions. Your primary focus will be on equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to promote mental wellness and resilience. Through interactive teaching methods, you will empower students to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and implement effective strategies for self-care and support.

Key Responsibilities of the Mental Health and Well- Being Tutor
• Develop and deliver tailored teaching materials and lesson plans related to mental health and wellbeing topics.
• Facilitate interactive learning experiences that encourage student participation and engagement.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing their specific learning needs and challenges.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes open dialogue and mutual respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative approaches to mental health education and support initiatives.

Requirements of the Mental Health and Well-Being Tutor
• A minimum of level 3 in Mental Health or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within an educational or community setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of mental health principles, practices, and current trends.
• Passion for promoting mental wellness and supporting individuals in achieving their full potential.
• Teaching qualification minimum level 3 e.g. PTLLS, AET
• Level 2 English and Maths Qualification minimum
