Our client, one of the leading independent, multi-award-winning Accident Repair Groups throughout the UK, is seeking for a Bodyshop Panel Painter to join their team.

The ideal candidate will prepare, spray and finish vehicles in an efficient manner ensuring correctness of colour match and final finish to the company and customers expected standard.

Role: Bodyshop Panel Painter

Hours: Hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday

Location: Glasgow

Job description:

* Understand the general principles of spray-painting technology, paint composition, paint mixing and the various methods of paint spraying vehicles. Also, to update your knowledge regularly when product developments/improvements take place. Attend training courses as necessary.

* Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding, and other necessary preparation work. Spray paint to the required finish/standard always having regard for customer care/satisfaction.

* Always use the prescribed safety apparatus/clothing and attend company arranged medicals and follow all necessary guidance provided by the medical professionals. Report any deterioration in health or vision to your manager without delay.

* Keep all company tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition paying particular attention to the reduction of any fire hazards.

* To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.
