Job Title: Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer

My client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business based in the Tewkesbury area currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer to work within a extremely technical supplier engineer position.

The right candidate will have strong design experience of mechanical and hydraulic components and processes and be able to dissect an engineering drawing down to the highest of detail.

This role will involve some travel to meet with suppliers both inside the UK and overseas.

The successful candidate must have right to work within the UK

Key Responsibilities – Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer

Working closely with suppliers help solve complex mechanical engineering problems
Provide technical project management working between the business and the IP suppliers
Managing budget to ensure the project is on budget and schedule
Resolve technical issues between the IP supplier and the business
Review of IP suppliers design and development processes
Main technical point of contact between he supplier and the business
Some travel within the UK and abroad when needed
Ability to read complex engineering and technical drawings to the highest level
Qualifications & Requirements – Senior Mechanical NPI Engineer  

Degree in mechanical engineer or master’s in mechanical engineering
Minimum of 5 years industry experience
Strong Design Experience
