Company Accountant / Finance Manager in Stockport - CV-Library

Our client is a well established family owned construction related business and they are now looking to recruit a Company Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of accounting and financial management for the business.

The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll systems. The position is an office-based, hands on role and involves all aspects of running the accounts department and therefore the successful candidate should have the ability to work under their own initiative and have good experience in the following:

Purchase Ledger

Sales Ledger & Credit Control

VAT

PAYE

Pensions

Monthly Management Accounts

Year End Preparation

Bank Reconciliations

Word, Outlook & Excel

You will be reporting directly to and working closely with the Managing Director. The role will involve many other tasks which are part of working in a small, close-knit office environment, such as negotiating utility contracts, scanning/sending invoices by e-mail, dealing with HR matters, maintaining staff and holiday records, asset records and many other general office tasks.

Hours 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
