Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Scunthorpe – up to £50k + car/allowance

Are you looking to join a regional business with an enviable pipeline of civil engineering projects all within the Yorkshire and Humber region?

Our client is reaping the benefits of extensive repeat business primarily from the local authorities for civil engineering and highway schemes. These can range anywhere in value from £300k up to £10m and include public realm, bridges, roads, cycle highways, and footpaths. A Northern based business, they have successfully grown the Yorkshire region from scratch to an and have a guaranteed pipeline of work to sustain this moving forward enabling further growth.

They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to initially work site based on a £5m highways scheme in North Lincs on a NEC option A lump sum contract. Following on from this future works will be as described above throughout the Yorkshire region.

Previous experience on similar projects is required for this role, along with a good understanding of NEC contracts. You will be at intermediate level and have 3-5 years experience and will be able to look after the project yourself. You will be someone who is looking to learn and hopefully step up to Senior level within 2-3 years.

The salary comes of £40-£50k comes with a generous company car (hybrid) or allowance, pension, healthcare and discretionary annual bonus.
