Leveraging your robust background in MEP design, you'll take charge of managing the suite of Building Design Guides, ensuring periodic review and updates.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate standardized engineering solutions into project development.
Evaluate proposed deviations from the design guides and provide recommendations.
Develop budgets for major maintenance and lifecycle planning of the estate.
Offer expertise on the condition of the estate, conducting ongoing detailed assessments of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.
Collaborate with FM site operations managers to prioritize tasks based on business objectives and building conditions.
Lead the transition towards a proactive approach to asset management aligned with ISO55001 principles.
Act as the representative for the FM Operations team, overseeing the implementation of any new installations.

We are looking for the following expereince

Demonstrated expertise in Building Services Engineering, specifically focusing on Mechanical Engineering and the design and specification of Mechanical installations.
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Proven track record in crafting scope of works and performance specifications for both planned maintenance and Capital works packages.
Familiarity with asset management principles, including ISO(phone number removed).
Efficient implementation of standardised engineering solutions.
Experience in assessing and implementing energy-efficient solutions.
Capability to serve as a Senior Authorising Person, entrusted with the responsibility for the Mechanical Safety Rules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
While not essential, being a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a member of CIBSE would be advantageous.
