Receptionist
Location: Dursley, Gloucestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday | 09:00am – 17:00pm
Salary: £12.00 - £14.00 per hour DOE

Our client is currently seeking a receptionist to join their dynamic team. As the first point of contact, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for all guests and callers.

Key Responsibilities of a Receptionist
* Take bookings and ensure accurate scheduling.
* Create new customer records and maintain an organized database.
* Update customer records with relevant information.
* Amend or cancel bookings as needed, ensuring clear communication with customers.
* Generate invoices for services rendered.
* Amend invoices as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Process payments, including taking payments and deposits.
* Answer emails promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
* Manage vaccination cards and ensure compliance with requirements.
* Assist with organizing and conducting tours for visitors.
* Print care sheets and provide necessary information to customers.
* Follow the complaints procedure to address any customer concerns or issues.
* Implement reconciliation and backup procedures to maintain financial records.
* Post invoices and manage cash payments accurately.
* Ledger invoices and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.
Key Skills of a Receptionist
* Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
