Excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Based Engineer to join a well-established company
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts plus overtime

Full job description The role is primarily field based, (Nationwide) and you could be required to work onsite at the companys Head Quarters in Harrogate, dependant on business needs.
Key responsibilities of a Field Engineer will include:
Installation, commissioning, staff training of Balers and Compactors
Carrying out Baler and Compactor machine repairs, servicing and maintenance on and off site
Diagnosing faults and problem solving to repair
Working on hydraulics and electrical circuits
Refurbishing balers and compactors to a high standard
Slinging and lifting machinery
Reading and interpreting engineer drawings
Preparation of digital service reports
Liaising with customers when on client site
Working with other internal departments
The ideal Engineer will:
Have experience working on Balers and Compactors (3 years)
Have electric and hydraulic experience
Welding experience
Fabrication experience (desirable)
A full, clean UK driving licence
Forklift Truck licence preferred; training will be provided if not.
You will have excellent communication skills, be able to use your own initiative and work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Some flexibility will be required around working hours when required, to get the job finished. Overtime will be paid
