Supported Housing Officer in Bournemouth - CV-Library

We are working with a well-renowned social housing provider who are looking to recruit a Supported Housing Officer for a 3-6 month contract with possibility of going permanent.

Working from home 1 or 2 days per week, you will manage your own diary, providing a comprehensive housing management service to customers across East Dorset - primarily vulnerable needs clients.

Using your previous experience from working in the sector, you daily duties will include:

* Managing a patch of properties close to Bournemouth, supported clients with mental health and substance misuse

* Answering tenant queries in relation to their tenancy and helping to sustain them

* Sign-posting clients to external support agencies

* Working closely with colleagues to ensure the prompt resolution of any ASB disputes, income or lettings queries

* Dealing with any challenging situations on your patch

* Giving general welfare and benefits advice to tenants

To apply for this position, you must have experience of working within tenancy management and the social housing sector, coupled with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. You must have an enhanced DBS within the last 3 years.
