Michael Page Logistics are looking to recruit a Traffic Planning Manager for a client in Reading.

Client Details

Our client offers specialist Logistics services for a wide range of goods across defence, nuclear and medical.

Description

In the role of Traffic Planning Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day planning operation is being delivered effectively and efficiently. You will coordinate the delivery of individual jobs for customers, anticipate potential issues and intervene to resolve problems, maintaining excellent relationships with both external and internal stakeholders to provide a professional end-to-end service. The role will also see you coordinating, coaching and guiding the team, upskilling and expanding their tradecraft and knowledge as needed, identifying any potential issues and challenges where best practice is being compromised.

Profile

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 5 years logistical planning experience specialising in dangerous goods or in a similar role
Significant experience in developing management teams within a similar complex logistics operation
Confident and outgoing personality
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet set deadlinesJob Offer
