Experience needed:
Ideally qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience in a Physics or Engineering based subject, such as; Electronics, Hardware, Computer Science, Software or Systems Engineering etc.
Hold Security clearance at SC level or eligibility to obtain it
Experience of developing system solutions against a design brief.
Requirements Engineering (elicitation, decomposition, analysis and management).
Definition of systems interfaces and boundaries.
Experience of Integration, Verification and Validation activities.
Experience or knowledge of systems modelling techniques.
Work package management responsibilities.
Preparation for, and participation in System Design Reviews
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary design team
Desirable:
Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
Maritime Domain.
Underwater Warfare, Torpedo Defence or Acoustics.
Concept of Operation analysis and definition.
Experience with a requirements management tool such as DOORs or JAMA.
Experience of using design analysis techniques to evaluate different potential solutions e.g. trade-studies, calculations, modelling and simulation.
Responsibility for developing and delivering viable technical solutions for complex systems.
A team-oriented individual that works collaboratively to achieve team goals.
Systems Engineering Process Definition.
Strong communication skills; positive attitude.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and attentive to details.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance *minimum 5 years UK residency*
Site Location : All applicants must be located locally, or able to relocate to the client site based in the Buckinghamshire area. (Relocation assistance available *T&C's apply)
Working: The role is office/hybrid based with occasional travel to other company/customer's sites in the UK or abroad.
