We want to hear from you to fill our Field Service Engineer role! A new and exciting role, the Field Service Engineer will join a small and dedicated team, committed to ensuring the machinery and equipment run efficiently and effectively, maximising production and minimising downtime. Based at our clients site in the West Midlands, theField Service Engineerwill embrace the daily challenges, be happy to turn your hand to a variety of tasks, a natural problem solver you will use your proven experience to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults in the workshop and out in the field. A fantastic, hands-on Field Service Engineer role for a machinery enthusiast playing a key role in a forward thinking and innovative company.

Field Service Engineer Role Responsibilities:
To perform routine service and maintenance requirements of vehicles and plant equipment
To diagnose and rectify machinery, vehicle, and plant equipment breakdowns
To undertake field-based repairs, keeping downtime to a minimum
To fabricate machinery and parts designed in-house
To follow safety procedures and regulations when undertaking repairs and maintenance
To assist and support the team in the development of new projects and innovations
Skills you will need:
Essential:
Experience in undertaking routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles and equipment
Proven experience in working with pneumatics and hydraulics
Fabrication experience
Ability to work with low-voltage electronic systems
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing machinery and hydraulic faults
A strong understanding of health and safety principles and procedures
Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise own diary and workloads
A problem solver with a methodical and detailed approach
Excellent communication skills
A team player who can work cohesively within a team environment
Reliable, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of a busy agricultural business
UK driving licence
Desirable:
A relevant mechanical engineering qualification
Electronics and welding skills
Telescopic licence
Remuneration: A competitive salary commensurate with the candidate's experience.
