Salary:£33,000 to £42,000 depending on qualifications and experience
About the Company:
A great opportunity to join a growing lifestyle Financial Planning firm based in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The company is directly authorised and specialises in providing comprehensive cashflow planning, pension, investment and protection advice. The firm want to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their well-established team. The successful candidate will support the advisers and help deliver quality advice to clients.
What Your Day to Day Duties Will Include: Report Writing and Administration
Contribute to the Advice Process through attending meetings and discussing matters with The Investment Director, Operations Manager, Consultants and Financial Advisers.
Manage the Report Writing Process on an ongoing basis and implement it in a uniform way across all clients.
Produce recommendation reports, research and a compliant file as and when required in line with current regulations in a timely fashion.
As a Paraplanner you will be processing new business properly and taking ownership for seeing it through to completion.
Contribute to and assist in the production of management information for the Directors and senior team.
Responsible for maintaining and ensuring that records and files are updated timely and correctly.
Liaise closely with all of the team to ensure smooth communication of information and assist with processing in other areas where the need may arise.

What is Needed to Be Considered:
Diploma Qualified or on your way to being (Preferably CII)
Experience of writing Suitability Reports including new business, investment, and pension transfers
Proficient with technical nature of advice; such as pension tax relief, carry forward, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, investment bonds, transfer process
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word with ability to manage spreadsheets
Attend some client meetings and write up meeting notes
Comfortable with using wealth management tools FE Analytics/ATEB/Adviser Asset/Intelligent Office
Literacy, numeracy and attention to detail are crucial for this role
Excellent organisational skills, prepared to work as part of a team and independently Hard-working, friendly, easy going, and open to ideas
Prepared to listen, learn, improve skills and processes
